The machine

What it does.

The 416 forms lined handle and belt material and feeds it into the needle at a repeatable fold, so a component that is easy to make inconsistently by hand comes out the same every time. On a bag handle or a workwear belt, that consistency is the difference between a component that looks made and one that looks assembled.

A folder like the 416 is what separates an operator who fights the material from one who simply sews it. It is a precision part, machined in house to the same standard as our machines and stocked through the Atlanta Parts Depot so a line is never held up for the one part that makes a station run.
